How to Have a Topsail Island Thanksgiving
It's November! Fall in Topsail is a lovely time of year to visit our barrier island beaches and our quaint coastal towns. The weather is gorgeous, the beaches are wide open and uncrowded, and the fishing is awesome.
Do you know what else there is to love this time of year? A Topsail Island Thanksgiving! So, what are your options if you're vacationing here over the Thanksgiving holiday? We're glad you asked. Here's everything you need to know on how to spend Thanksgiving on Topsail Island. There's more than one way to celebrate on our island!
Stay in and make Thanksgiving dinner in your Topsail Island vacation rental.
Thanksgiving is the absolute perfect time to put your Topsail vacation rental kitchen to good use! Combine your beach vacation with your Thanksgiving holiday and celebrate the season in true coastal style. Talk about being thankful! How could you not be as you sit around the Thanksgiving dinner table, your family surrounding you, a fabulous meal in front of you, and a breathtaking ocean view right outside your window?
The entertaining options are endless. Whether it's an intimate Thanksgiving dinner for two, a family gathering, or an all-out Thanksgiving event, you'll be able to host it in the comfort of your Topsail vacation rental with ease.
Your vacation rental kitchen comes with the basics of what you need to create your entire Thanksgiving feast. You may want to consider ahead of time any special equipment you might require for your specific dinner (think large roasting pan, electric slicer and dinner-specific kitchen tools), but most likely your vacation rental kitchen will have just about everything you need. If not, you always have local equipment rental companies nearby which rent household items you may need if you're entertaining on a larger scale. Of course, our local shops and our Topsail area stores have anything and everything you need to buy while you're here.
All you really need to do is shop for your meal ingredients and familiarize yourself with your vacation rental kitchen, so you know what you have and what you don't. Everything else is included: Stunning views, check! Amazing accommodations, check! Island vibe, check!
