Air Conditioning - Cool Air Blowing
Now we need to diagnose the problem and hopefully fix it! If your air conditioning system is blowing cool air (note that it probably won't feel cold, just cool), make sure all windows and doors remain closed. Also make sure that no exhaust fans are running, and that the thermostat is set to the Cool setting and the fan setting is on Auto. Make sure that the thermostat temperature is set to no lower than 74 degrees. In this case, the air conditioning is working, and most likely the cool air it has produced has been released through opening of doors and windows. We often encounter than a child or guest did not get an exterior door in a bedroom closed all the way, or a window was left open unknowingly, and now the air conditioner has to play catch-up.
